The beauty of the mind
The human mind is a wonderful object in which we can create, feel, act, sing, love and help the human kind to blossom to it's fullest potential! Many of us have forgotten that what thrives us is the compassion and love for our family, friends, spouse or nature and in that state of being every thing you desire becomes a possibility in this realm of existence.
One of many ways to expand your sense of being and explore the depths of your mind is with the use of psychedelic substances that have now made illegal for reasons that Terence McKenna the psychedelic philosopher has put so beautifully into words of wisdom: - “Psychedelics are illegal not because a loving government is concerned that you may jump out of a third story window. Psychedelics are illegal because they dissolve opinion structures and culturally laid down models of behaviour and information processing. They open you up to the possibility that everything you know is wrong.”
Since the beginning of times, different shamanic cultures from Australia to North-Siberian lowlands have progressed along the way with stimulating the mind to become what is called an altered states of conciousness and the time has come to integrate the abnormal ways of being into everyday life. Everyone is a shaman, but in his own way. Who dances, who paints, who sings - every creator in our universal model is a wiseman.
Unfortunately we have become distanced from ourselves and our needs. The society that is built on fear and hatered tries to eliminate any way that brings us back to the the place that we could really be in. Our children are not ours to raise anymore, the wages are inhuman, over half of the population lives below the poverty line, the religious clashes with war budgeting are not signs of healthy co-operation. It has gone too far and it's time to go back to our roots, to the basics of what are we made of.
Just ranting about psychedelics doesn't give much to the reader so I urge you to be open-minded about different kind of experiences that are not induced by drinking alchol or smoking tobacco. There are a ways for you to open something in your heart that can break down cultural habits and egoistic needs only if you allow yourself to it.
