We all dream of the day when we can walk out on our beachfront million dollar balconies, sipping the finest of champagnes, and smelling the scent of the ocean.
But the real question is... how do you get there?
Many times we think its a matter of luck or opportunity or timing.
We randomly meet someone at an event and they say they are gonna build the next billion dollar app. Excited by their vision, we jump in. And the rest, as they say... is history.
But You Can Start Creating Your Own Luck Today
While this does happen, this post is about something else.
This post is about what challenges your beliefs.
The question is...
What if that million dollar idea is under your nose right now and you don't even know it?
Think about it - how many times people might have asked you for your help / expertise around a certain topic.
Maybe they asked you if your interested to help them write copy / do marketing / give them relationship advice?
What if that's your ticket to financial freedom all along?
How I Accidentally Stumbled On a Potentially Good Idea
My example - quite a number of people have come to me and asked for my services on:
- Copywriting
- Content marketing
- Content writing
- SEO
"Wait a minute, there's obviously demand here. But I'm not doing the supplying."
And boom, why not start a content marketing consultancy?
Now, am I promising that you will find your next million dollar idea? Maybe, maybe not.
But the point is to start examining it.
Start looking around and try to validate what it is that you can come up with.
Never try, never know.
Go ponder and think hard about the demand that came your way before.
Think hard and write even harder to materialize those ideas. And once your done, pick one and test it.
Craft your pitch, post it into Facebook groups and see what happens.
Most importantly, take action.
That million dollar dream will remain dream until you wake up and put in the work.
