I love thinking about human behavior and trying to understand the principles behind it. Decision-making is a particularly interesting territory for me. The evolution of theories of the matter was in the stone age 20 years ago, and is still taking place nowadays. I want to share with you today the video that inspired me to think about human behavior, the irrationalities and biases that shape our lives.
TED talks are amazing. This is one of the first I ever watched, and I can`t stop doing it ever since. It is a privilege for me to share it with you today.
I highly recommend all of the other Dan Ariely TED talks, as well of his books, starting with Predictably Irrational.
I really hope that this may have inspired some of you in this field, as I was inspired few years ago. I am considering making this a series of posts about human behavior, what do you think about that? Of course at this point I am a newbie in the field and I am mostly re-sharing things I like, but I want to change this with time!
Do you feel in control?
