Oh my, can you believe that we are almost half way through the year already? It's crazy, but cool.
This month we had quite an emotional time in the cryptosphere. Blood on the streets as one post I read called it and it most certainly felt like that when almost everything plummeted to 50% of it's value overnight.
The strangest part for me was seeing how quickly people seemed to disappear from posting on Hive regularly. Seems strange considering that you'll still be getting the same Hive in rewards so when the market rebounds, happy days.
I used this month to really smash my goals right out of the park. I've been here a little while and know that I'm invested. I want Hive to succeed. There were some really strange things that popped out to me when I started delving into HiveBuzz this month though. My account is still tiny compared to some, but I started from nothing so I feel like I've accomplished a fair bit in a shortish space of time. The goal of posting daily is admirable and I've only managed to stick to that for one full month so far, but my dedication has increased dramatically over the past few months. I love Hive and feel that I am putting in quality and staking it in my HP. It doesn't happen overnight but slow and steady wins the race so they say.
What did I get up to with my account?

My account is now standing at 3000HP. When the price of Hive fell I decided to invest more of my liquid into staked HP. This has obviously got added benefits of increased voting power and RC. I'm super happy with reaching this milestone, 850HP more than my goal too.
Yesterday when I was looking over my account I saw that I have powered up on Power Up day every month for 10 consecutive months. Considering that for the first few months on Hive I didn't even know what Power Up day was or what it did, I'm happy to have not missed a month since then.
My rep is now at 67.7 and I'm aiming at hitting 68 by the end of June. It gets harder the higher you go so I'm not putting out unrealistic goals on this one. I've broken through to rank 3557th by reputation and 2909 by staked HP.
My vests are sitting at 5,48million, well past my target this month and I'm now more than half way to reaching 🐬Dolphin🐬 status.
Where to from here?
Considering we have no real way of knowing what the markets might throw at us, I'm not going to make outlandish targets for this coming month. I am simply going to try and be consistant and enjoy the process at the same time.

I'm sure that these are all within reach and hopefully more! Either way, it's always enjoyable to see growth and knowing that even if it seems like slow going, the journey is what counts. The relationships you make along the way, the people that make you laugh, the posts that make you cry. The chit chat in the comments that often teach you something new. There's so much value right there, it's not just about the rewards and the statistics to me. Thank you to everyone that contributes to my day on this platform!
