This is a quote from the cartoon show Rick and Morty which has a young man and his grandpa dealing with alternate realities and inter dimensional worlds! But while all this is happening they still have to deal with basic family stuff. In this episode Morty the youngest son of his parents is trying to convince his older sister that she shouldn't leave cause she feels like a big mistake. His final comeback is this quote with a unique but not unheard of perspective. When you take a look at the big picture and zoom out all the way to just looking at the entirety of earth it is almost correct, but if you look at the difference it will make in the galaxy then it is basically nothing.
Yet, in him saying this his sister stays and finds peace. Something to that family is the whole world. Everything matters, everyone can have a purpose and belong anywhere and right now in the moment you are not going to die.Let's go live! Let's love your close friends and family. Sometimes it is good to see the big picture but always remember that the small picture is just as important.
