Yesterday went well with two opportunities for Steemizens to share their posts with others and get to know each other. To quote @enginewitty, “we had a smorgasbord of posts” available for sharing with a range of writing and topics. Great stuff and my thanks to everyone for participating.

@topkpop kicked off the evening session by sharing part one of her post about her gaming time. She’s an avid game player and spends time each day playing on their gaming consoles. A lot of her choices are driven by her daughter but @topkpop enjoys them too.
Now, this is one of the reasons I really enjoy doing the PYPT, finding out things about the people in my network that I didn’t know before. I didn’t know @topkpop enjoyed games. We become part of each others networks when we take part in PYPT

Introducing Tazewell Animal Rescue Coalition
@anarcho-andrei shared someone else’s work. This is a project started by @rhondak from the Writers Block discord. Being an animal lover, I support projects working to protect and get homes for those who end up without loving humans to look after them.
@tarc is running this animal rescue in an area of the US that has some devastating statistics when it comes to the wellbeing of it’s human citizens and even worse for animals. When you have a look at this post, make sure you also have a look at the link about those statistics. This is another Steemit project that can help change lives for our animal friends.

I Will Write A Novel Next Month - Join Me!
@steemitgraven29 shared with us his personal challenge to write a 50,000 word novel in November. He’s taking part in the annual National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) in which authors strive to complete theirs in a month. He’s tried before and didn’t quite get there, he’s trying again. Even if he doesn’t reach the full goal, he has another goal, to get into the habit of writing every day.
@steemitgraven29’s share sparked a brief conversation in which others in the room shared how they had tried this competition before. One of the benefits of attending PYPT is the side conversations that some posts generate. They don’t last long because we do want others to share but they are interesting.

The Lord of Yum
@molovelly brought her love of beer into PYPT with her post about a local craft brewery and her favourite beer “Dirty Bastard”. I love the creative names that some of the breweries and wineries come up with. When she first mentioned Dirty Bastard I immediately thought of the French wine I like called “Fat Bastard”.
She’s going to explore some other local breweries and report back. I’m sure she’ll need to do some sampling along the way.

@jakemore also joins us from Ghana. Not only is it late in the evening when our friends from Ghana join us, they are often struggling with unstable connections. So my hat’s off to them for their perseverance to take part in PYPT.

#Conclusion for Today
I’m late getting this report out. I had some errands to do yesterday that wore me out more than I expected. I had to finish it today.
So, all in all, I’d say the third PTPT was a success. Two sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon saw over twenty posts shared. We were introduced to new projects and some Steemizens who could use some support but weren’t in chat.
That’s what PYPT is all about, sharing and supporting each other. I’ll be back next Thursday for two more rounds. Plan on attending and taking part.
Don’t forget, you can visit the Steemit Ramble discord at anytime. When you share the post of another Steemizen in the nominate-someones-post channel you will get access to another channel nominate-your-post. I regularly review those two channels for potential posts to share in the Steemit Ramble.
If you are too busy to share, there is a post promotion channel. I might look in there some day. Steemit is about sharing and building community.
