I am a new joiner here, wrote my first blog today only. I am having hard time understanding the Business/Revenue model of Steemit. Tried searching on internet but did not get any satisfactory answers. However, I came to know that you have a lock-in period of 2 years to encash your Steem points.
I understood that Users will be paid in the form of Steems points for writing contents but I did not get how Steemit as a business owner makes money by paying its Users!
This might sound as a very basic or stupid question to those who have been using this since long time, but I am very curious to understand this.
