This is my first Question of the week post.
I go to work with the train instead of my car. It's more comfortable due to the current road conditions. On the way home I have to get on the train at Rákospalota-Újpest station. This is a medium-sized station with 6 tracks.
It's the main building of this station. Here is the ticket office and a small buffet. The waiting room is very draughty, because both doors are always open.
This was a warehouse building long ago. The goods were packed out of the trucks until the delivery train arrived. This building is no longer in operation, and very neglected.
Many people commute to the city by train to work or to school. This station is primarily used for the northern settlements of Hungary.
On these lines, older and newer trains are running.
