Lately I see many random acts of kindness on Steemit
I am not only talking about sending someone SBD or STEEM to help with their financial situation, but I'm also talking about when people take the time to put someone else in the spotlight, or to help get a charity project get more exposure by making another post of their own to reach more people. It can actually be all kinds of things. As I feel those things are really heartwarming to read, I want to share a few of these random acts of kindness I've read about on Steemit the last days. Hopefully reading those will give you a happy feeling too.

Yesterday I have experienced a random act of kindness myself
Let's start with the personal message here. This made me smile from ear to ear when I read it. I was doing a round of commenting on posts in the c-squared server this morning, and I came across the coolest post from @katalinaooma called "My small pendant part 3" that you can find here.

Source
I left a comment below her post, because I think she is really talented. She does not only design the pendant herself, which looks awesome on its own if you ask my opinion, but she creates the total package for the person that receives this pendant. As I had my own webshop for a few years in the past, where I also designed my own hair accessories complete with a nice own designed card to give the customer the ultimate shopping experience when opening the package, I can enjoy these kind of posts a lot. She gets it, this is how you sell your product. That extra effort she puts in there, will make the receiving customers talk about the gift they unpacked. Because even though this may be a purchase for yourself, it will feel like opening a gift.. The best way to get the word out there, is the word of other satisfied customers. Great job @katalinaooma :)
I was completely surprised when I read her comment below mine, that she would like to send me a necklace once she's happy with the end result. Just out of the blue she decided to tell me this, a real random act of kindness. It made me smile, and I told my boyfriend immediately, because this is something that can make a stranger smile all day. At least I smiled a lot yesterday @katalinaooma ! You are so kind, and I look forward to when it's finished, I have no doubt that it will be gorgeous..

Not long after this I read @abh12345's post
His post is called "A few beers? Yes, thanks to a kind soul here on Steem.." which can be found here. I participate in Asher's engagement league since I found out about it on the c-squared server. And yesterday I was looking if there was a new post in the league as I was curious how I did in the league, when I found this post instead.

He tells about how he shared some personal information about his financial situation the day before writing this post, and that a beer is pretty occasional for him at the moment. Although he isn't homeless or without any cloths, he is living pretty cheap for a westerner (his own words). Someone that read this post decided to send him 20 SBD in his wallet for "a few beers" anonymously. Now isn't that great? This makes me smile from ear to ear reading these things, and it makes me proud being a Steemit member too. Because these things happen here on the Steemit blockchain. People that commit for the communities, will be well-respected if they try making improvements here, which @abh12345 is clearly doing. And then these things happen. That's so awesome! Enjoy the beers Asher !

And just now I came across @lynncoyle1 her post
Her post is called "A Big Thank You to @paulag and @joelai from Brian and I" which also is so heartwarming. Most of the Steemit members know @lynncoyle1 and her husband @briancourteau and their story. They are such a lovely couple and are always so kind to other members, I feel sorry that they have to go through this hard time together, but at the same time their strength of going through these hardships is admirable.
They receive a lot of support here on Steemit from other members, and this post was directed at Paulag for sending them an amount of SBD to have a nice dinner together. How great is that? Just another random act of kindness from someone who thinks they deserve that. And then there was Joelai that read about how Lynn and Brian like ravens a lot, and made some drawings dedicated to them with of course, ravens on it. Below their favorite drawing, and you can click here to go to @joelai's post.

Then there's also @misslasvegas' post which is heartbreaking
She's a Dutch member living in Ireland, and got a horrible message a few days ago about her friend's 14 year old son that died after being hit by a car. Of course she wanted to be there for her friend, and she decided to leave to Holland as soon as she could. In times like that you really want to be there for your loved ones...

She arranged to go to Holland with the children paying about her last money, not knowing if she could be able to get back. So she did something she never does, ask for help here on Steemit. And she received that from at least two members. That is so heartwarming, and I'm truly happy for her that she has a little less to worry about now. She is a well respected community member here, and I hope this help will make it a little less hard going through this hard times. Take care @misslassvegas, there are not many words to say for what has happened to your friends son. Too young, and so tragic, my condolences.

Not to forget @article61's first and second raffle for a silver coin
I have read a lot from @article61's hand in the @familyprotection community, he is a well respected member that contributes a lot of great articles in my opinion. Several weeks ago I came across his article with a raffle for a Steemit silver coin. He gave away a piece in that raffle to members that made a donation to @familyprotection. The first edition was won by @krnel which was pretty awesome in my opinion as he also contributes a lot of great articles to raise awareness. This is what the raffle is about:

A beauty isn't it? So I am including this post not only because of the act of kindness coming from @article61's heart, as he doesn't collect the money himself, but wants people to donate to the cause familyprotection is fighting for, but also because I hope that maybe some more people will enter this raffle after reading this post. There is only one week left to enter, please go to the post and see what the rules are. You have a chance of winning that little silver gem, plus donating for one of the most heartwarming communities here on Steemit. I will be entering again too in a few days. Of course you are more than welcome to spread the word for the good cause !

I know there are many many more steemit members doing these random acts of kindness and I want to take a moment to thank all these people here. If you have similar stories to share, you can use the tag #randomactofkindness so we can collect these under one tag. Wouldn't it be great if we have a whole bunch of posts like this to thank these people for having a great heart? I think it would. And I hope some people will follow making similar posts.
