I've been considerig joining @flipstar's #rapthursday for some time. But this song which I've been listening to over and over in the last couple of days just made me do it.
It's a soundtrack of slovak Pulp Fiction of my generation called "Gympl" what stands for "High School". The movie came out exactly during my wildest years :D The movie is about 2 young guys who live only for night graffiti action. Funny enough, my name is still sprayed on train bridge in my hometown...Saying I'm a fucker :D I haven't done it tho! I actually never even had a spray in my hand! I find it stupid unless it's really good quality.
Also, the movie is very very similar to movie Breakout which is kinda the same but with breakdancing. Some of you might have seen that one!
It's weird, just listening to this song brings all those underground-like feelings back. I haven't been too crazy during highschool, but I wasn't the best kid either. Being stoned during family meeting with weed in my pocket, skipping school, parties, cheap wine & cigarettes etc etc :D I defo don't feel old but this one really makes me realize I'm not 18 anymore :D Like on this one:

Also, it's from the times when slovak rap was listenable and not cheap.
No stupid trap and mumblerap. Yepp, we have that in Slovakia as well :D I could definitely post better old slovak rap songs but the connection with that movie gives this one really a weird edge. It's just...full of memories :D I guess the times when pooing from bridge in the middle of our tiny town are gone :DLemme know if you like the song. It's a pity you can't understand lyrics tho..
