Hi everybody! My name is J Scott and I'm a professional real estate investor and educator. In addition to investing in real estate (I've rehabbed and built nearly 300 properties and have been involved in many hundreds of other projects), I've spent much of the past ten years writing and traveling the country, teaching other newbie investors how to make good decisions when it comes to real estate.
Most of my educational endeavors are completely non-profit (I pay for my own travel, I don't charge any speaking fees and I don't sell any high-priced courses or guru seminars) -- while I have written a few books on the topic, they weren't written with the intention of them being money making enterprises. I just like helping people learn about real estate, how to invest and how not to make bad decisions!
