This track is definitely not under the radar but it deserves a place on #recordpool. It got so popular by being a part of the "Get Out" soundtrack, and the fact that it is a Donald Glover's band. It makes me happy that something like this gets this widespread, reminding the mainstream that there is good music still being produced out there.
This song oozes with that 70's R&B - Soul vibes, the sound Donald achieved truly impresses me and I personally thought it came from 70's era the first time I've heard it, his flanged falsetto vocal is so convincing that it sounds like there is a soulful woman actually singing. I hope there is some of you here that haven't yet had a pleasure of discovering this track.
