Am I a redfish? A steemit sardine maybe.
Steemit for me is the mother of all blockchains, it's where I started as a blogger and where I learned that without the markdown code you don't get anywhere and that a picture is worth a thousand words.

Steemit is the social network that connects you with others by expressing your ideas and sharing your knowledge "not by your looks", here you can be whoever you want: a superhero, an avatar, man, woman or transgender, it doesn't matter your gender or your beliefs, it only matters that you express yourself with respect following the values that govern this community.
I like steemit because here people are known for their talents, life experiences and qualities, musicians, painters, writers, world explorers, scientists, engineers, housewives, doctors, technologists, digital artists, designers, mothers, fathers, craftsmen and religious, in short, common people like you and me.
A simple post connects you with the whole world and can be read by thousands of people in a few hours, that can't be done by another social network without mentioning that by creating content and supporting others you receive an economic incentive.
That's why their slogan says, Steemit the social network that pays. Can you live on steemit? That depends on the quality of your publications, the popularity you have on the net, the constancy, effort, and creativity you put into each creation.
The copyright must be respected, that is, you can use images, textual quotations, videos, and any audiovisual material to enrich the information and presentation of your posts, as long as you mention the author of the material you used.
Personal experience at steemit.
I have little time on the platform but I already know people on several continents, Europe, Africa, Asia, North and South America where I am from and people from my country. (Venezuela).
One of the beautiful experiences that steemit gave me was to participate in a social experiment created by a Steemians @livinguktaiwan that was to send postcards to other people in different continents is one of the selected ones, finished the experiment this person continued sharing with me beautiful details that unite and make tangible our friendship.

How to be successful in steemit?
I wish I knew the answer to that question but I think the key is to be genuine, sincere and respectful.
My favorite Frontends all, in all that I can publish I do it to get more visibility, but if I must mention one would be steempeak because it allows me to schedule the publications in date and time desired in addition to displaying the percentage that each vote I receive.
Knowing the tags that determine the information of your publication is vital, besides the interaction through comments that people make in your posts as those who can leave in the publications that you vote, always remember that steemit is a social network.
I wish that steemit equals the value of content creation with the monetary value if we all as a community invested in advertising and added real value to this blockchain we would benefit in the medium and long term.
Every day I thank God for showing in my way to steemit, after many months of prayer asking to find something that will generate some economic aid to solve the crisis of my country through the Internet, I heard only the word steemit, without any other guidance, browsing reading here and there I managed to publish my first post.
But the road is not easy and it is there when generous people intervene to help and guide us in this blockchain, I will not get tired of thanking @the01crow for being a great person and helping me in this river.
He like many others are people who work in silence and invest their time helping others in steemit.
We have to believe that we have the best blockchain in the world because we do.
This post allows me to participate in the contest organized by @sgt-dan thanks to these initiatives common people are informed and can know the benefits that bring steemit, if you want to participate here is the link.
