為何我在Steem？
這是一個非常有趣的故事。
事源於一次和家姐吃晚飯，她突然帶了一個朋友@htliao來，然後他就像推銷員一樣推銷Steem。那時候他超熱情的介紹，還比手畫腳的介紹了區塊鏈，用金錢的誘惑把我拉進這個漩渦。
不過我選擇繼續留在Steem的原因還是因為金錢的利誘。當時Steem還是$2USD一顆，@htliao的一個點讚還有$1USD以上，不像現在跌到屎一樣。那時候的一個帖輕鬆有$7-8USD的，月賺$1000多港幣，不像現在辛苦存下這麼多Steem卻只值少少的零頭。
就算現在的一個帖才一兩塊我還繼續努力，最主要的原因是我現在才是個學生吧。反正學生的時間是最多的，寧願把時間花在遊戲上倒不如在這裡寫寫文章賺賺錢。更重要的是，我相信終有一個Steem的幣價會瘋狂漲起來，那現在存下的Steem將來就大派用場了。
有什麼價值是其他平台提供不了而Steem可以？
我想第一個想法就是金錢吧。現在有很多社交平台，什麼Instagram Facebook這樣的讓人分享自己的生活，但有一點比不上Steem的就是他們都沒有提供金錢給作者。
第二點就是社交吧。雖然其他平台也有社交功能，但Steem卻使我認識到更多人，不知侷限於已認識的朋友。Steem甚至發展出自己的一個社區，這是其他平台所做不到的，這讓我們接觸到更多人。就以我為例，普通的一個中學生平常又怎會認識到大人的圈子，但我卻通過了Steem社區認識到各種人物，甚至其他地區的朋友。我更認識到這個世界不是單單讀書這麼陜窄，這是我從在這裡認識到的大人身上所觀察到的東西。例如以前我會覺得成功人士總是離自己很遠，自己沒可能達到他們的水平。但當我真的認識到他們時，才發現成功只是靠自己爭取，只要自己願意的話，任何人都可以是成功人士。如我在這裡認識到的@trendhk，他是一個媒體的老闆！這讓我意識到，普普通通的一個市民也能當老闆，一切都是靠自己的爭取！
再者，為了抱到更多大腿，我們都會主動給別人留言，爭取更多互動，讓本來陌生的大家也能認識到對方，這點是其他平台永遠望塵莫及的地方！
最後希望今年能認識到更多不同的朋友，擴大自己視野！

Why am I on Steem?
It is an interesting story to start with.
It began with a dinner with my sister that she brought her friend @htliao together. At that time, he was extremely passionate to introduce me Steemit and blockchain, just like a salesperson, and bait me into this community by rewarding money!
The reason why I chose to stay on Steem is due to the rewarding money. At that point, one Steem was worth $2USD, and an full upvote from @htliao was worth above $1USD, but now it drops like a shit. It was once a piece of cake to get above $8USD per post, having above $1000HKD income per month, unlike now my account is only worth a little money.
Although it is a cold winter for Steemians, I did not leave this community because I am a student. I am in the stage, student that having the most spare time, I would rather choose to spare my time for earning on Steem instead of spending it on meaningless games. The most important is I believe the price of Steem will rise like a rocket with sky’s limit one day, and the Steem I am storing right now will make be a billionaire!
What’s the biggest value that Steem can bring me that no other platforms can?
The first idea comes up to mind is money. There are plenty of platforms like Facebook, Instagram that allow users to share their daily life, but they are not rewarding authors any money!
I suspect the second biggest value is the community and society. Although other platforms also carry socialising function, Steem allows me to get more people, not only limited to known friends. Steem has even developed its own community, which others platforms can never be able to achieve, this turns us to know more people around. For me as an example, an ordinary secondary student can never get into the adult community, but I am able to squeeze myself into the adult community through Steem, and able to make new friends with them even those in other areas. I also realised that the world isn’t only as narrow as studying , which I observed this from those adults. Moreover, I used to think that successful people are far from us, and I could never achieve their level. However, when I am able to get close to them, I notice that seccess is initiated with our efforts. Once we want it, everyone can be successful. For example, I met @trendhk here, whom is the boss of trendhk media. I realised an usual citizen can be a boss, no matter who you are , it all comes from our efforts!
In addition, we are willing to interact with others through commenting on Steem, just to get more supporters. It allows strangers to be friends, this other platforms can never ever achieve!
Lastly, I hope to make more different friends through Steem to widen my horizons!
