What is the basis of our happiness?
If it depends on our circumstances, we will all have problems because sooner or later we will find ourselves in difficulties. Paul said he had discovered the secret of living above the circumstances that life brings us. His secret was Jesus Christ. Jesus was his security that despite the problems, he was not alone. No matter how difficult your circumstances were, these difficulties were not permanent. Despite the hardness of the moment, in each moment Jesus provided the strength to overcome. Paul is equally sure that Jesus will also give you and me the same strength and victory.
