I love the ColecoVision and back in 2010, someone that goes by the name of Krue (Daniel Kruszyna) made a demo called Waterline for BlockParty 2010. I am still blown away by it. The music is fantastic. In fact, I never heard sound come out of the ColecoVision as good as this. As for the graphics, he did some things in that demo that I didn't think was possible for a ColecoVision. For example, there's a plasma effect with some sprites going by. The sprites I understand, but the plasma effect... just amazing. Krue seems to be telling a story with this demo which revolves around water. I'm not a deep person, so it's meaning has gone over my head, but he was nice enough to send me a patch (which is an image of one of the sprites) and game cartridge years ago. Can't remember how that even happened, but I am very grateful as this cartridge means a lot to me.
