Por fin tuve tiempo libre para continuar con el Retro Gaming Blogging Challenge. En esta tercera publicación compartiré algunos de los videojuegos que terminé para la SNES y el GameBoy Color. Son muchos juegos que llegué a completar, pero creo que en esta lista me enfocaré en los que más me causaron emoción y satisfacción.
I finally had some free time to continue with the Retro Gaming Blogging Challenge. This third post will share some of the video games I finished for the SNES and GameBoy Color. There are many games that I managed to complete, but I think that in this list, I will focus on the ones that caused me the most excitement and satisfaction.
Super Mario World
El primero de los juegos que terminé al 100% fue Super Mario World, este juego lo disfruté tanto que pasaba muchas horas sentado frente al televisor. Lo mejor era que podía ir guardando mis avances, algo que en la mayoría de los otros juegos no podía realizar. Me costó mucho trabajo terminarlo, cada que avanzaba descubría llaves nuevas y lugares secretos. De hecho, la parte más complicada de terminar fue el mundo de la estrella y los niveles especiales. Desde aquella vez lo he completado muchas veces.
The first game that I finished 100% was Super Mario World; I enjoyed this game so much that I spent many hours sitting in front of the TV. The best thing was that I could save my progress, something that I could not do in most of the other games. It took me a lot of work to finish it; every time I advanced, I discovered new keys and secret places. The hardest part to finish was the star world and the particular levels. Since that time, I have completed it many times.
The Lion King
El juego basado en El Rey León fue el segundo juego terminé. En sí, este juego de plataforma realmente no es extenso, de hecho hoy en día lo puedo terminar en unas dos horas, pero en aquella ocasión recuerdo que me tomó como tres días, y lo peor es que no podía apagar la consola porque si no perdía todo el avance. Considero que este ha sido uno de los juegos con el nivel más complicado de todos los que he jugado. Los invito a llegar al nivel 6 llamado Hakuna Matata, de verdad saca lo peor de nuestro ser jajaja.
The game based on The Lion King was the second game I finished. In itself, this platform game is not long, in fact, nowadays, I can finish it in about two hours, but at that time, I remember that it took me about three days. The worst thing is that I could not turn off the console because otherwise, I lost all the progress. I consider that this has been one of the games with the most complicated level of all I have played. I invite you to reach level 6 called Hakuna Matata; it brings out the worst in us, hahaha.
Estuve realizando unos videos cortos de este juego, pero solo era la emulación, espero retomarlo ya con audio y video de mis reacciones y sobre todo pasar ese nivel endemoniado.

Pokemon Red
Este juego lo recuerdo con cariño porque me lo regaló mi padrino cuando pasé a sexto de primaria junto con la Game Boy Color. Me da mucha gracia cuando me acuerdo que era la sensación en la primaria por traer uno 🤣.
I fondly remember this game because my godfather gave it to me when I went to sixth grade and the Game Boy Color. It makes me laugh when I remember that I was the sensation in elementary school for bringing one 🤣.
Cuando recién lo comencé a jugar no entendía mucho la dinámica del juego y mucho menos lo que decía, ya que estaba en inglés. Mi Pokémon inicial fue Charmander, y desde ese momento se convirtió en mi inicial favorito (sobre todas las demás generaciones).
When I first started playing it, I didn't understand much about the game dynamics, let alone what it said, since it was in English. My initial Pokémon was Charmander, and from that moment on, it became my favorite initial Pokémon (above all other generations).
Cómo desconocía que es lo que tenía que hacer en el juego, recuerdo que de tanto pelear con los otros entrenadores y de estar venciendo tantos Pokémon, mi Charmander pasó a ser un Charizard. No fue hasta que unos de mis compañeros me enseñó a jugar bien y aprendí que debía ir avanzando por los gimnasios, o sea, está lógica me la imaginaba porque veía la serie, pero en el juego no entendía como llevarla a cabo 😂. Y bueno, después de esa pequeña asesoría me enfilé a derrotar a todos y conseguir todas las medallas para enfrentar a la Elite Four y vencerlos.
As I didn't know what I had to do in the game, I remember that from so much fighting with the other trainers and defeating so many Pokémon, my Charmander became a Charizard. It wasn't until one of my teammates taught me how to play well. I learned that I had to advance through the gyms; that is, I imagined this logic because I watched the series, but I didn't understand how to carry it out 😂in the game. And well, after that little advice, I set out to defeat everyone and get all the medals to face the Elite Four and defeat them.
Cabe mencionar que fue el único juego que tuve para esta consola.
It is worth mentioning that it was the only game I had for this console.
Estos son los tres primeros juegos que llegué a completar cuando recién inicié con esto de los videojuegos. En aquellos tiempos completé muchísimos más, pero sería muy extenso mencionarlos a todos, mejor les dejo algunos GIFs de los que llegué a terminar.
These are the first three games I managed to complete when I first started playing video games. I met many more in those days, but it would be too long to mention them all; I'd better leave you some GIFs of the ones I finished.
