Is steemit too hard?
Even though I didn't post much since when I joined in December, I know the steemit platform well. I really enjoy it, but let's be honest here for a second it needs some fine tuning.
Power up
Ok so I think this is one of the main point people coming here don't understand. What exactly powering up means. Yes I already hear you, whales, saying well #duh, everyone knows what #SP means.
No
When you look at many minnow accounts, you soon realize people have half Steem power (SP) and half Steem dollars (SBD). That is all great and all for people that do grasp the concept of those assets. For the others; #whattheheck ?
#SteemPower
For you guys, Steem power is what makes your upvotes actually count. Your account could be worth 1M$, if it is all in SBD (Steem dollar), your upvote would be worth 0.
RFC
I think the default for new users posts and comments should be 100% power up. That way they would learn how the platform works. Then, if they don't want to, they can change this by themselves.
Power up to raise #quality and #engagement.
What do you think?
