This is an augmented reality sandbox, a device capable of projecting elevation, topography and water onto sand according to how you mold it. I discovered it by chance at the Kocaeli Bilim Merkezi (Kocaeli Science Center) in Izmit, Turkey. A lot of this is really just playing around but there are a few specific land formations you can see.
