Robosexuals.

These are people who are sexually attracted to robots instead of humans. I would bet their numbers are growing. You may be aware of the numerous stories of men marrying robots, but there are now women, too. I was surprised to learn about Lilly who 3-D printed her own robot called InMoovator. Lilly is a French woman studying to be a roboticist, and she is planning on marrying her robot when it's legal to do so in France.

I bet you're a bit shocked right now. I know I am, but I'm also not surprised. Lilly said she knew she was sexually attracted to robots by the age of 19. She describes not liking human flesh, so she seems to have a strong aversion to humans.

Now, many of you might find what I am about to say really strange, but I understand Lilly's motivations pretty well. For those of you who happened to be on the germaphobic spectrum, life with a robot doesn't really seem that strange. The one thing that does elude me though, is how to combat boredom with a robot. It would seem that after a while, the newness would wear off and the predictability of the robot's responses would get dull. I guess that's where AI will come in, in the future.
Part of me doesn't want to admit this next bit, but because I have taken the vow of telling the truth here on Steemit, I could easily see myself falling in love with this robot named Jules:
The over-analysis that Jules goes through is somehow relaxing to me. It's as if Jules is always reviewing his motivations, inputs and reactions to various stimuli. I find this activity somehow familiar. So for me, I could see life with a robot, as long as it is equipped with advanced AI as being actually more fulfilling than with a human. I know I am not alone with these thoughts. I have a very strong aversion to germs, and have always carried around this excessive fear, starting from childhood. I also can easily connect with dolls, and mannequins, so it would seem that I am probably perfectly positioned to become a robosexual in the future. The idea doesn't freak me out at all.
My guess is that we will continue to hear about more and more robosexuals in the coming years. And
"At a conference on the matter in London earlier this week, Dr David Levy said humans would marry robots around or before 2050." -Daily Mail
