Not so long ago, a female artificial robot named Sophia has made headlines in the mainstream news becoming the first robot to be a citizen in Saudi Arabia. A country known to opress women had allowed an artificial women citizenship. 
Why would a government allow a fictitious, artificial person to become a citizen and allowed the same "rights" you, your children, parents, grandparents, etc have? A citizenship is an allegiance to your government not the land, not the people not your family or home.....your government and just like a robot your citizenship is a fictitous, corporate entity. If you look at your birth certificate your name is written in caps and along with your social security card you are nothing more than a tax slave and collateral to the government who have set up trusts, bonds and accounts in your name without you even knowing.
As artificial intelligence and the use of machines become more common in every day life from self driving cars to warehouse and construction workers. The government will have to adress the unemployment issue with a UBI (universal basic income) it will be a fixed amount of income real humans will be recieving, its essentially welfare but dont worry they wont be using the tax base from the robots. it will be the money the government stole from you in your secret accounts. People will be given only enough to survive and the new "citizens" will be more than happy to slave all day and hand all their money over to papa Government or essentially zionist freemasons.
As the use for real people decline those left will be crammed into smart cities, into tiny apartments and either walking, biking, or taking a self driving uber car. Car ownership will be frowned upon and too expensive for people to have. As a self driving electric car is far more safe than a human driver is. So if you do own a car the insurance will be to much and their justification is a self driving car is safer.
Amazon and Google like that you will be home and heavily regulated by the new technologies that can constantly track you. After all Obama isnt a citizen and neither are most of the elite in the government apperatus. They know what citizenship entails. They like being free humans not corporate entites binded to "rights" essentially permitions they grant. Oh well robots dont need that, do you?
