I just finished a 7.074km run that lasted about 0hh:44mm:34ss !

The UK weather has been very mixed lately. I was lucky Sunday was okay for a run and it did not look too bad today, but there were a few spots of rain as I set off and it rained a bit more. I do not mind that too much and I was not exactly soaked by the end.
I took my usual route to to Fairlands Valley Park and around the lake, but did not do intervals today. I just want to assess my general running and see if my hip plays up. I barely felt anything there, so maybe it is healing. Up by the lake there was a family sitting outside for a picnic despite the rain and then there was a big crowd of Canada geese who just wandered out the way as I came through.
My pace was reasonable at comfortably under 6 min/km. I stopped at the outdoor gym as usual for a few reps, so that affected the overall pace. I was pretty happy with this run as I did not feel like I was working especially hard to do that pace. I will keep working on my fitness. I want to get back to parkrun soon and will do some other events.
