Today's run was intervals again. I'm sure this does me some good. I was on my own and it was slightly cooler than recently. I took a loop around the cycle tracks and housing estates of Stevenage. I was doing 'pyramid' intervals where the sprints get longer and then shorter again. Some of them come when I'm going uphill, so that's even harder. As usual Endomondo mis-reported my max pace. I'm not totally convinced the 1km time is accurate. That was later in the run.
My time would have been quicker if I hadn't made a stop at the outdoor gym for some dips, rowing and other exercises. I don't do much on my upper body, so I think this is useful. There are a fair few of these facilities around these days. The one nearest home doesn't have the fancy machines, but I've not been there recently.
As I left the changing room there was a guy in exactly the same shirt. It's from the Standalone 10k that I'm doing again this year after a few years off. I hope to be in decent form by October.
I see @lloyddavis has just started running, so please give him some encouragement.
