I have been salt water sailor since I was 14 old ,later crossed 2 oceans and now living and sailing in the Caribbean, a true sailors' paradise.
When I was 21 years old I developed a love for wooden boats . So as green as I was, I bought a wooden fishing boat of 85 ft. A ridiculous project that was mend to fail but what to do when your head is full of dreams? Years later I swore I never would buy a wooden boat again.
But here I am now not been able to resist the love for wooden boats and there beauty from times long gone.
A new project is born ; to rebuild the Siskiwit, a wooden racing cruising yacht designed by Jac.Iversen and built in 1947 in Stockholm. For those who share my love for classic yachts I would like to invite you to follow me and see how this project will grow over time.
