Hello everyone!
December 6th is the day filled with childhood memories, treats in clean boots, and the joy of little surprises.
This year, Saint Nicholas brought me an unexpected but cute combo: a super cute toy raccoon and 50€😆! Not sure what I’m more happy about😛.
For those who might not know, Saint Nicholas Day is a beloved tradition in many countries, especially across Europe. Kids (and let’s be honest, adults too😁) leave their shoes out the night before, hoping Saint Nicholas will fill them with chocolates, candies, or small gifts – if they’ve been good, of course! If they weren’t , they usually get a branch so they know they need to be better. Historically, Saint Nicholas was a 4th Century bishop known for his generosity and kindness, especially toward children.
This tradition always brings warmth and magic as the Christmas season comes closer. I love this time of the year because people open up their hearts more. We often lose that idea so it’s a moment to cherish.
Did you get anything in your boot this year or did you gift something to someone :)?
