TL;DR
I drop my phone on the water, tried to fix it, I messed so badly, after 3 days it's totally gone, how lucky...
I will not complain or blame anyone but admitted its all my fault and all because of my recklessness.
It worked for before, but not this time. It broke the Note 8 motherboard.
Tried my luck in soaking it in rice, it didn't work out this time.
I opened it and try to fix it by myself.
I tear it down to try to fix things.
I can't help but want to share all my frustration on this post, maybe this is the final goodbye for all the good things that more than 2 years I have this phone.
This is not the best timing to lost my phone especially on this pandemic that we are facing hard times financially. The moral lesson of this don't be reckless and even if the label said it is water-resistant, don't put it on the water unless it's important to do so. It is better to be overprotective than less vigilant.
