While looking at the Map of San DIego and the San Diego Zoo I noticed that what seemed like a lake, was actually a parking lot lol. They did have a plan to build underground or above ground structures and then create a new park area for the zoo
Seems like the City of San DIego has already been busy with new Plans and I love the idea of building new towers downtown
Hah Seems like the biggest problem the CIty and Developers have is arguing about who gets the best View of the Bay and Ocean front Property lololol LITERALLy the "biggest stumbling block for developers" ahhh first world problems, I LOVE IT
Concern from the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego, a port tenant, that their view would be blocked by the new designs may be the biggest stumbling block for developers.
Matthew Adams, area vice president at the Grand Hyatt, submitted a letter to the board saying the new design would block views of the San Diego Bay from the hotel, create traffic problems and hurt its business.
“The density of the project is extreme and disproportionate to the amount of land adjacent to the hotel,” he wrote.
The Hyatt is the third-biggest moneymaker for the port, bringing in $11.4 million in fiscal year 2015. Commissioners said they were concerned about pitting one tenant against another.
This is the biggest issue lol arguing over who gets the best view? Let's organize the actual VIEW on a Blockchain , like how Hong Kong uses Fung Shui Settlements in COurt with real world payments when views and energy flows get blocked lol
Amazing Vox Documentary about how they actually use mystical metaphysical practices in real courtroom compensation matters, so imagine if we started making new developments pay the Hyatt for every photon of light NOT coming in from that direction of the bay? LOL How ridiculous can you go? I support be civilized in these matters and the idea that in Hong Kong they actually use Magic in building practices is amazing but I suppose we had anti 13th floor superstitions in the west as well :)

One such example are the indigenous villagers in Hong Kong’s New Territories region. After being forced to move to make way for new housing developments, over the past decade the villagers have received HK$10 million of public funds to spend on feng shui rituals for their new homes. “When the government has to take land from villages, the authorities have to respect the local people’s claims that the new developments will destroy their feng shui,” says Lo.
Anyway I want Public Blockchains to be a part of Local Journalism to prevent censorship and allow users from all over the world to use the San DIego Journalism sector to become a digital safe haven for Journalism and Free Speech using software. I cannot WAIT until the Union tribune has a Steem EOS or Telos Smart Contract with Accounts for its users , with Scatter / SQRL login for News STories like https://bywire.com or https://decentium.org
https://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/real-estate
I love how San Diego Union tribune has a section just for Real Estate
But i do not appreciate the San Diego Union tribune giving me a "Youve Reached Your Limit" while trying to read Important Covid19 News. This whole idea of paying to read an online newspaper website is ridiculous and absurd in 2020. They should have plenty of funding from advertising and I bet you they are only hurting themselves with a pay wall which only forces people to use a VPN or other tactics to get that important potentially life saving news. I have a plan for all locals to sign in with their public key for their Universal Local ID using SAND Steem EOSIO Telos (telos Wallet with special Sentiment Tokens) And we use those to read and curate and post, and sign with with @sqrl or a scatter or keychain style login method.
I also question why we should have to pay to read news that is thrown on the grown by bums? I love the newspaper and I have a plan for it to grow where SAN DIEGANS get a FREE subscription if they CURATE!
LOL I really need to compete on a private level and create open source news that comes a much higher quality than that newspaper OR... convince them to allow the articles that are behind the paywall to NOT be baited like we are fish. they need to have those stories as an extra bonus cherry on top and pay their readers for curating. We can even use front ends like Steempeak https://steempeak.com
ANyway i got all these images from Google Images.... and I want to create a system where all Local Steem users get a FREE San DIego Union tribune Subscription if they leave comments share links and curate.
LOl I suppose the real estate section of SanDiegoUniontribune is still free? :D
Oh and an organization called RADY gave the San Diego Zoo $10 Million DOllars and this sort of story Inspires me to create and plan new ideas for the city and to create 3d models, maps, and to really help make civics seem fun and attainable for local artists by having https://steemsandiego.com open for them to post from and to have the Telos blockchain and its worker proposal system ready to take new Local CIty proposals that use the Telos Blockchain https://sqrlwallet.io and view the WPS here https://chainspector.io/governance
I bet if anyone in San Diego especially part of a large organization made a proposal, they could get telos to fund it if they adopted telos in their organization. STeem SPS may even follow a similar pattern.
Come talk about Steem Sand San Diego and Local Civics on Public Blockchains and UBI systems using steem here https://t.me/sandiegocoin
