As a Gujarati born and bred in the UK, I don't get the opportunity to wear sarees as much as I would like. I absolutely adore these 6 meter pieces of fabric. They feel gorgeous on my skin and the flowing swishing movement as I walk is kinda feminine. Better still, the look my hubby @MisterZayani gives me when I wear one is priceless! hahah (bedroom eyes an all)
As a make up artist, I know that draping can cause anxiety for a lot of people...especially bridesmaids who are not exposed to wearing them and attending perhaps an indian wedding.
Here's my step by step on how to drape them. I'd love to know your thoughts on saree draping. Have you ever worn one? Is there a way to post your saree pics here..? I have no idea...i'm a Steemit Newbie!
