so recently like most people I’ve been following along the crazy surge pricing of SBD like a hawk because it’s supposed to be pegged at around $1 and well it’s at $11/12 right now, I have a gut instinct that it will go higher again for a big spike but I could be wrong — the awesome @dan-atstarlite has started doing his wonderful videos again and shared some advice on the topic that you should check out, this time not from the car (because it’s shitty out) and is now inside in fully lovely green screen colour and his advice is gold, really love ya work dan, welcome back! :)
So I wanted to quickly drop in a little post of the powerful five tools that I use to keep a beady eye on what’s going on throughout the day — I use another application that runs in my tray bar for an at a glance update as well called ‘coin tick’ that you can get for free on the app store (mac) if your not in your browser and things start to rally, I could have added it to the list before but I couldn’t come up with a cool name for the six and well a super long url for the App Store link made my formatting look terrible ;

What I tend to do is follow the price in the tray bar and occasionally through the day check out the price withe steemdollar.com I would suggest if your are looking for a certain moment that you set up an auto trade on an exchange and forward your SBD over there — that being said I’ve heard a few people have problems with exchanges in recent weeks so that’s a gamble on you, that’s not the way I’ll be doing my transaction, all gonna be notifications and manual as such, not professional I know and depends on me catching it at the right time, could be early morning too, anytime, you decide what level you wanna jump in and out at people!
each morning I check steem.supply to see what I can expect to come out in the next twenty four hours and whatever I’ve got right now I’m splitting down the middle between powering up and keeping a balance of sbd waiting for another peak (a peak that might never come btw) but because i never expected to see SBD at this price I’m interested if it will happen again, I’m waiting around weekends especially right now because that seems to be the flow of that spike.
Using steemnow I can check out how well my posts are doing as a group for the next seven days, this gives me a basic breakdown of what’s doing well and what was well received, I don’t write for the crowd as such and use SEO tactics to bait in traffic like some authors have the ‘instagram’ way of doing but I do ok for saying I’m daily and put out good stuff I think that people are interested in.
I always do an SBD calculation with blocktrades.us and then run that into the bitcoin live converter to see what the $ worth of that would be as bitcoin, right now however I would suggest maybe putting it in dash or litecoin if you really don’t need access to it and it’s going into your crypto portfolio, again that’s on you.
It’s just what I would be doing right now if I didn’t need those funds for anything short term — dash and litecoin are on respective upswings right now, maybe that’s because of lighting activity and playing or the fact that dash has that 2mb cache size limit increase, either way I love both of those cryptos and they have been good to me in the past.
