The book of the salmos tells us about the path of the righteous and specifically there is a promise from God in chapter 1 verse 3 where the psalmist declares the following:
"It will be like a tree planted next to water currents,
That bears fruit in its time,
And his leaf does not fall;
And whatever he does shall prosper".
Taking advantage of this promise I want to specify the concept of happiness that exists in prosperity according to the psalmist David.
Happiness is a mood of the person who feels fully satisfied for enjoying what they want or for enjoying something good.
Happiness is also an emotion that occurs in a living being when he thinks he has reached a desired goal.
Some psychologists have tried to characterize the degree of happiness through various tests, and have come to define happiness as a measure of subjective (self-perceived) well-being that influences the attitudes and behavior of individuals. People who have a high degree of happiness generally show a positive environment approach, while at the same time they are motivated to conquer new goals. Unlike people who do not feel any degree of happiness that show an approach to the negative environment, feeling frustrated with the development of their lives, attributing the blame to the rest of the society they live with (taken from the Wikipedia dictionary)
All human beings would like to be happy, nobody in this life wants to be an unhappy but it seems that this is free but has a very high price. It is obvious that happiness is not bought or sold is free and is reached by those who decide to bet on the wisdom of God to be able to live in this system of things that many condition.
Happiness has a secret to be able to opt for it as well as when you access a key to open a door that will lead you to the desired goal.

That goal is obtained when you make the word of God a delight. The psalmist says before the promise "but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in his law he meditates day and night."
For this reason the text I quoted leads us to have an idea about what can lead us to achieve happiness. We find a promise that God wishes to fulfill with everyone where he says: "Everything will prosper."
That "everything will prosper" demands responsibility from us because no promise of God is exempt from any responsible action on our part. God also gives us rules so that we keep it in obedience to his word and obviously it will have an effect according to our actions.
Many people today have confused what it really means to be happy, some attribute happiness to possessing many material goods but certainly happiness is an internal condition that has nothing to do with the accumulation of wealth.
If material goods give happiness we could ask ourselves why many people who have so much money or possessions take their lives? - This shows us that having money and goods in abundance does not determine the degree of happiness in a person nor does poverty determine Being happy is a condition of the soul and God gives it.

Prosperity can be assumed as a degree of happiness in the biblical sense, because no one will prosper as long as he does not begin to do what God says, many wish to walk in prosperity and happiness but none of us will gain something worthwhile instantly but we have to winning gradually and day by day submitting our will to God without allowing anyone to condition us in this system of values normally practiced by people who are subject to the world.
We need to act, remember that God's answer comes to our lives when we put his word into action.
Be happy! that is the purpose of God that you be very happy despite any circumstance
