For example, the lack of unity in the Bible is described by a very significant word called "discord" whose meaning is opposition, disagreement, division or rupture.
We read in Proverbs 6:14 "Perversities are in his heart; he is thinking evil at all times; sow discords."
The concept of discord calls a very frequent situation in our society and in interpersonal relationships, which is the disagreement and opposition of wills and opinions ....
Pride and self-centeredness produce strife and the contest gives rise to the formation of groups that can lead to the ruin of a local church, so we cannot allow the enemy to sow discord in any of us, it is not good that the people of God live in contention or sow it either because it does not come from God nor is it a fruit of the spirit.
Rather, we must seek unity and practice it as a principle of life.
Sowing discord is to practice the work of the enemy and where there is strife there is disturbance and therefore there is disunity. If we have to be clear about something, it is that disagreements have always existed, but according to the word of God there is a remedy for disputes. The enemy knows that "the disputes" bring divisions and therefore he tries all the time to sow them in families, institutions, churches, marriages ... in order to cause divisions and allow the lack of unity.
It is because of the pride that Satan fell and he is an expert in deceiving even man with integrity in the most pious so that he falls into his trap. Satan continues to deceive and continues to enslave man with the same chains of sin, which is why we must be careful that he can enter our hearts.
Remember that pride can puff you up and makes you sow discord among people in your environment.
Discord separates you even from the best friend and there is no unity in a town that lets itself be dominated by discord.
God hates discord says that "he who sows discord among brothers" He hates it, how tremendous! may God himself use the word "he hates" because he does not support such a situation. Who is practicing such things?
In Prov. 6: 12-14 it says: “The evil man, the depraved man, is the one who is wicked in the mouth; who winks, who speaks with his feet, who beckons with his fingers, Perversity is in his heart; he is thinking about evil at all times; sow discord. ”
Someone who has been born again cannot sow discord between siblings or practice it anywhere or at any time.
We must avoid being one of them because God does not support his children to walk in discord, the word of God reminds us in Titus 3: 1-2 the following: “Remind everyone that they should be obedient and submissive to rulers and authorities. They must always be willing to do good to not speak ill of anyone, but to seek peace and be respectful, demonstrating full humility in their dealings with everyone. ”
God commands us to be at peace with everyone and everywhere and do good at all times even with those who do us wrong.
