It was early in the morning, as Eutopia got out of her bedroom only to be alarmingly surprised by McKayla, Marius and Naia. Both of them were standing outside his dormitory residence, with folders in their arms. She was mainly glad to see Naia alright again, after knowing the incident with his family. As they went into his apartment, McKayla was grimacing from the obnoxious smell that came from his refrigerator. They tried to avoid mentioning Naia's family as they knew it would bring back unproductive memories. All three of them went into the plan, but were quickly interrupted by the stench. It was coming from the refrigerator. Nevertheless, Eutopia was completely oblivious to it.
McKayla (grimace): gosh, Eutopia......what the hell is that smell?!!
Eutopia (yawn): Is something rotting in my home, something I can't smell?
Marius: well obviously. Can't you smell it or anything?
Eutopia (bemused): but........where is it even coming from?!!
Marius (sigh): ah. Probably your refrigerator!
She frowned as she approached it. The others were now pinching their nose unbearably, as they all walked behind her to see what she had placed inside of it. As she opened her refrigerator, she was egregiously astounded by what she had seen inside of it. Carcasses inside of her refrigerator, all of which were cut up human flesh. Eutopia felt obnoxiously queasy, as the others asked her what was inside. Being as confused as she was, she knew that telling them would not be a smart idea. Especially knowing that they were already suspicious about her telepathy. Afterall, they knew she was the only one who could hear it. If anything, she could easily lie to them.
McKayla (exasperated): well, what is inside of your fridge?
Eutopia (agitated): uh, some food I have not eaten in months......since we went to the realm for all those days.
Marius: then get rid of them, it is contaminating this thought process!!
Eutopia: I'm doing so..........I just need you guys to leave my home for now. I'll be finished in like twenty minutes...can you guys go back to your cars?!!
Marius (suspiciously): why? Wouldn't it be much faster if we helped ou out, we need to get to the point here!
The voices inside of Eutopia's head grew stronger, as she had to cover her ears and close her eyes. She understood the telepathic message that was being said to her. Telling her that they have placed Naia's parents and brothers' carcasses in her refrigerator. Eutopia was too egregiously astonished to be thinking straight. She was asleep the entire night. She did not ever recall hearing footsteps or anything enter her apartment. Her second peace was quickly interrupted by noticing Marius and McKayla were approaching the refrigerator, she quickly blocked them. They insisted on going pass her, but she pushed them all aside. They were astounded by her abnormal demeanor.
Eutopia (belligerently): I need you all to leave, this is my home!!!
McKayla (mutter): gee, what's with that attitude?
Eutopia: you're not coming back, McKayla.............NOR ARE YOU MARIUS!! YOU GUYS ARE BOTH GOING!!
Marius (aggressively): no!! We're not leaving unless you show us what is inside of that thing!!
Eutopia (hoarsely): no, I cannot show you. You idiots won't understand. So I'll ask you again, to leave!!
Marius: not unless you show us what is inside!!
Their tension was quickly interrupted by another knock on her apartment door. As she opened, she saw Lolite and Samuel. They warmly greeted them, as they all went inside and smelt the stench. Marius continued to look at Eutopia meticulously, but their tension was once again interrupted by another doorbell. It was Jonathan, standing in his new clothes and new hairstyle. He unexpectedly greeted Eutopia with a warm kiss, before eyeing at Marius. Eutopia brutally pushed him away, and told him he wanted none of it. He was mesmerized by the smell that came from her apartment.
Jonathan (angrily): Jesus girl! You've a real problem with hygiene!!
Marius (cautiously): now that we're here, no one is leaving........until Eutopia shows us what is inside.
Samuel (frown): wait.........why can't we just give the poor girl some space. Probably just rotten food!
Marius: no, there's something more to it. I can tell!
All the fuss made Jonathan exasperated, as he pushed past them to open the refrigerator. Just flashing like lightning, they saw an unusual horrifying expression from his face. They all went over to see, with Naia behind them. He was the shortest, but his vision was never blurred when he sees his family. Eutopia was standing in the distance of the room with both of her hands over her face. Lolite and McKayla began whispering among themselves. Marius, Samuel and Jonathan turned to approach her. Naia was deeply upset, as she could tell from his hoarse voice. She knew there was inferior chance of getting them to believe her story, as they kept a skeptical mind about it from the beginning.
Naia (infuriated): I can't believe this.............you did this, didn't you?
Eutopia (silently): no, please don't believe this Naia!! I would not even know what they looked like........come on!
Lolite: maybe this is some kind of mistake...........
Marius (angrily): you would believe that??!! I just knew something was off from the beginning.........if there was a telepathic message, I would've seen it in my visions!
Eutopia exhaled, as she pushed past them. They were chasing after her now, as she could hear their snarling yells from behind her. She quickly got into her car and drove away. On the road, she could hear the beeping from her fellow peers. It screeched her ears, as she felt her lungs snap. There were a few voices in her head at once, but she could no longer feel the overwhelming sensation of it anymore. She was keen to keep driving, even though she knew she would eventually pass unconscious from the sounds. She arrived at Mazoon's home just in time, while gesticulating to the others where she was.
Eutopia (breathelessly): MAZOON!! Please, help me!
Mazoon (calmly): ah, my brightest student...........well maybe not the brightest. How can I help you with anything?
Eutopia (fluster): the telepathic sounds, they didn't stop!! I'm hearing those sounds I know are from them. I even have these visions again.........and this morning, I found bodies in my freezer!!
Mazoon: I do know that some psychics have powerful telekinetism. Bodies in your freezer?
Eutopia (fluster): yes, they're the bodies of Naia's family!!! They don't believe me, regardless of what I tell them.
Mazoon (calmly): they will soon enough. Because if you're hearing it, then it is clear you're not the only one. Other telepathists will experience the same thing, and soon they'd have to believe you.
Eutopia: they're outside right now............
Mazoon: I recommend you take these pills, as for these few days. The telepathy would spread, and soon other telepathists would speak out for it.
As Eutopia was leaving the retirement cottage, she saw the others standing outside the gates. She shivered to the thought of them, as Jonathan and Samuel rushed at her. She was pierced to the ground, and tied with ropes together. He used his telekinetism to take her into the car. Marius and McKayla were inside, as they drove off. She could see Lolite standing by the side of the road with her hands over her mouth. Crying out her name, but was quickly intervened by Jonathan. On the way, they ignored everything Eutopia tried to explain to them, until they reached the police station. Naia was sitting in the interrogating room.
The judge could not find the exact footage for the crime. So they took Eutopia to the prison cells for over two weeks. Knowing they had little evidence about the situation, they were under further investigation. Meanwhile, Marius and McKayla visited her from the prison cell. She was shackled to both sides of the wall, as they were afraid she could escape. She glared down at them, knowing that they would not listen to what she had to say. McKayla began speaking after what felt like five minutes.
McKayla (jested): I guess you're not gonna come home now, are you?
Eutopia (bitterly): whatever it is..........you're not going to listen anyways.
Marius (sigh): the judge has found you innocuous for any form of crime. Unfortunately though, Naia won't forgive you for what you did. You'll be leaving the cell tomorrow morning.
Eutopia: thank God!!
Once they got back into the Ripleys' house, Naia was sitting in the couch with tissues on the ground. He was incessantly sobbing, although he soaked his face into the cushion that was between him and McKayla. When Eutopia entered, she saw Lolite sitting next to him comforting him. The room became silent when she entered, in which she could sense Jonathan glaring from behind him. Marius sighed, as he tried to explain to Naia again that she did not place the bodies in the refrigerator. Naia was persistent that Eutopia was relevant to his parents' and brother's death. In the end, they had to come to an agreement that they would continue on searching for any clues regarding the psychic energies behind it. However, they also had to keep a distance from Eutopia.
