It has been several weeks since Naia's misfortunate death of his parents. Since then, he has decided to shut himself out from civilization. He remained in his village alongside his siblings, grieving for their brother. He refused to see anyone, even after Marius and Samuel insisted on doing so. After grieving for two days, he returned to his university class. Lolite and McKayla were in his class. They tried to approach him, but he distanced himself from them. Eutopia felt melancholic seeing him like this, knowing he was usually a very heart-strong and outgoing type. He avoided all social gatherings, including seeing them. When it was Jonathan's birthday and he was having a host party, Naia made an excuse not to go.
Lolite (concerned): we've never seen him like this...........ever. There has to be something I we can do.
McKayla (sigh): you mean, there has to be something that you can do!! Yes, not us. I mean, come on now...........the orders are over. They got what they wanted, isn't that the whole bargain?
Lolite: yeah, but still.............
McKayla: we should just leave it as that. I mean, Naia's family isn't the only ones who were lost in the process.
Eutopia (frown): seriously McKay?!! This isn't the time for your insensitive theories!!
Marius (sigh): let's just give the little dude some space. I would need it if I was him anyways.
Jonathan (gritted): yeah, this is my 20th birthday anyways!! So, shouldn't we be talking less about him, and more about me?
Lolite: you're getting what you want, Jona!
They spent the night dancing to the music as well as drinking. Eutopia watched Jonathan and Samuel encouraging Marius to drink. He already had five shots, and was refusing for any more due to his allergies. However, they were not going to let him get away with it so easily. After give more mind blowing booms, Marius drank another five shots. He was now drunk, as Eutopia could tell from a distance. He was queasy and yelling things from the top of his voice. She was way too apprehended over the previous incidents to be indulging herself. Lolite and McKayla came to join her, as she was sitting on the top of the Ryans' staircase. They were both upstairs the whole time.
Lolite: Eutopia.........are you alright??
Eutopia (mutter): how can I be? After literally what happened with Naia's family, and everything else.
McKayla (sigh): well, we did not know that was coming. The people were brainwashed. They did not know what they were doing, nor was his family.
Eutopia: I feel responsible..........in a way.
Lolite (sigh): yeah, we all do. We're the ones gifted with the facilities to save........yet we failed. These people are just oridinary......
Eutopia (contrited): no, as in I was the most responsible in this.......I should've warned them. I should've warned you!!
Lolite (bemused): what are you talking about?!! Don't tell me........you heard them first.
Eutopia (sob): well, yeah I did alright?!! I did not want to tell you guys, cause I was a bloody coward!! I'm sorry............
McKayla: Eutopia is a telepathist, they communicate with us through telepathy. She heard it first!
Eutopia got up and ran to the bathroom crying. Lolite and McKayla knew how she was sensing, so they followed after her. She locked herself in Jonathan's bathroom, as she shouted for them to go away. Just at that time, she saw visions and voices. They were both sensational. She gasped out in horror, as she realized she was either hallucinating or experiencing telepathy. The knocking from outside the bathroom became louder, but the audio began fading inside her ears. She could no longer hear the desperate yells from some people outside of the bathroom, but she began hearing the voices of the other worldly psychics instead. The voices lasted for over half an hour, as someone grabbed the keys and opened the door.
Jonathan (frown): Eutopia...........what the hell??!!!
Eutopia (gasped): oh, my. I'm sorry if I disturbed you or anything...........I heard them again.
Jonathan (gritted): we'll deal with it tonight, after all our guests leave. For now, this is my birthday and you'll do as enjoy!!
Eutopia (sobbing): where's Marius, I need to talk to him!!!
Jonathan (snarl): you're making an embarrassing scene, in front of my guests!! You can either leave, or act like you're enjoying!!!!
Eutopia pushed past Jonathan, as he grabbed her arm. Lolite and McKayla gasped in the distance, as he shoved her back into the bathroom. They could hear her yepping out in agitation and pain, as Marius and Samuel pushed past the crowd. The door was still locked, as they felt the earth shake beneath them. They pushed past the door after spending two minutes. Eutopia and Jonathan quickly let go. Marius was devastated to see what was going on in front of him. To his intepretation, Eutopia was cheating on him. He shook his head viciously, as he pushed past Samuel. He left the house before she could find him in the crowd.
Eutopia (fluster): MARIUS, WAIT!!
Samuel (bemused): what had happened in there?
Jonathan: well.............she was clinging onto me, not wanting to let me go. I was going to the puke, and she refused to let go of my sleeves. I told her to back off.............
Samuel (frown): dude, is that honesty?
Jonathan (jested): absolutely. I told her I would be making a mistake, since Marius is such a dear friend of mine. She was unable to listen to me.
Once Eutopia arrived home, she felt more queasy than before. Knowing that she did not drink anything nor danced with anyone, but assaulted by a friend or someone from her closest clique. The voices grew stronger, as she could now understand what it was saying. It was telling her to destroy the generator in their chamber in the realm. Eutopia knew that if she broke the generator, most of the psychic citizens would be unable to use their abilities. She continued to ignore them, as the voices grew louder and nastier. In her sleep, instead getting the soundly sleep she usually got, she had visions. The first vision was the clearest to her. One where she saw the mermaid body and head. A tribe of them, standing near the fire pit. They were chanting a song.
She woke up early the next morning, after receiving a call from her parents. They insisted on her returning home this weekend. She dropped off at Marius's house, just to check how he has been. McKayla was standing in the doorway, giving Eutopia a friendly gesticulation. Lolite and Samuel were inside as well. After Eutopia entered, all five of them sat in the lounge room.
Marius (sigh): I can't believe this...............it didn't stop, did it? If Eutopia can still hear them and have these visions.
Eutopia: yeah, about me...........
McKayla: we need Naia, he is the only one who can have clairaudience. If this really is that, then Eutopia should not be the only one who can hear it.
Lolite: she has a point!!
Samuel (exasperated): I've tried calling him several times. Man, he won't answer his phone.
Marius (calmly): lets just put that all aside for now. When he comes along, we'll go on..............
McKayla (frown): but what about Eutopia's.........?
Marius: she'll just deal with it herself. There's nothing more to be done. It is finished!!
After that, Marius told them all to leave their house. McKayla was astounded by his irritating attitude towards Lolite and Samuel, as he shoved them out of their home. Eutopia stayed for a minute, while glancing at Marius one more time. McKayla insisted that she should better be going off as well. However, she was reluctant to leave while knowing he was believing the lie. She knew what Jonathan wanted. The desire to become the next president by pushing aside Marius's ambitious nature. Breaking his heart was the only way for their citizens to approve a telekinetist.
The voices inside her mind became stronger. The languages were that of the foreign, but she knew them too well. Words that were filled with malice towards her and those around her. She knew they had to do something about it, even if it meant going on without Naia. Eutopia could always read minds, including Marius's. He was deeply upset from the incident last night, and found Naia's absence as an excuse. She knew there were more ominious intentions the psychics have installed for them. Even if they were not in that chamber, Eutopia knew that they were hidden in a chamber or somewhere in the realm.
Eutopia (sigh): Marius, there's something I need to tell you................
Marius: you're going to have to leave!!!
Eutopia (frown): it is about Jonathan and everything that went on last night...............
McKayla: Eutopia, you heard what my brother said. Leave us alone now, they're all gone!!
Eutopia (bitterly): since when did you find it all startling..........oh, I get it! You're surprised this came from Jonathan............
Marius (infuriated): EUTOPIA!! I'm not gonna ask you again!!
Eutopia glanced at them both one last time, before leaving their house. That night, the voices inside her mind began consuming her mentality. Living back in her parents' house and glad that both of them as well as her brothers were alive. However, she knew that they would be endangered sooner or later. With everything that was stopping her from practice on manipulating her fireball, she was mainly kept together by her family. Throughout the next two days, Marius refused to talk to anyone. When McKayla asked if he needed anything, he simply shut himself out from her. He had precognitions, but were quickly forgotten the next morning.
Naia kept himself together, as he heard the same signals that Eutopia did. It echoed in his ears during his last nights, as they pinched into his sleep. He told Lenore and Anwyll that he would have to return to their civilization in order to finish something. His sister was abruptly upfront about his departure, even throwing berries at his package. Naia could hear his sister's infuriating scream behind him, as he knew he had to just ignore her. He returned to the urban area within three days of travelling.
Naia (silently): well, I'm home!!!
Jonathan (jested): so........back from your parents' funeral?
Naia: yeah, so what?!!
Jonathan (sigh): I'm just joking with you, buddy!! Now that you're back, we can put this behind now.
