Before they knew it, they were embedded inside a chamber they knew were out of the realm. An egregious realization came to mind, as Marius knew that they could potentially be in vastesille. The atmosphere around them was almost unbearable, knowing that they cannot breathe the oxygen. The red fog made McKayla's eyes water, while she slowly puts on the cloak she thought she had taken with her. She suddenly gasped realizing that none of them had brought the cloaks with them. Scurrying off into the misty distance, they managed to find their way to the clear atmosphere. Lolite caught a glimpse of the prehistoric birds she's seen before from a textbook. Their chirps were five times louder than she's ever heard of before.
Eutopia (fluster): where are we?!! Isn't this supposed to be inside Audrey's head?
Samuel (sigh): probably. Or she could've sent us back to their chamber.
Naia (frown): no, we're not in her head......the sound wave is different down here!
McKayla: this is the a vessel. The aluminium shell can only be controlled by her. A small shell that seems typical enough, but created by those idealists as disguise.
Jonathan: I think I've heard of it before. They're not just in shapes of shells, are they?
McKayla (grin): nope!! They can be as simplistic as a cup, but there's another space inside of it. Far greater than the object......
Eutopia and Lolite suddenly screamed, as a tail came lynching at their direction. They began running, just as Marius turned his head around to see the creature. A mixture of what appeared to be an elephant with a scorpian's tail. After the unbearable sprint, Naia lost his breathe and fell unconscious. Samuel insisted that he would carry him through. The atmosphere was red, while the air that they were inhaling felt like that coming from cigarettes. Marius knew that this was deliberately something set up by Audrey. As another tree was falling at Lolite's direction, Jonathan leaped over at her. They all continue sprinting until they found a cavern.
Eutopia (perturbed): there's no use.......is there?!! Audrey knows where we are inside this shell, she can easily get something else to fall on us!!
Marius (sedated): I don't think she's that knowledged yet! Until then, I've many theories on how we can get out of here!
Jonathan: THIS ISN'T THE TIME!
Marius (sigh): fine, then lets just do it the difficult way. There's a lake that will drown us, but also take us out of here!!
Lolite (mutter): so I've heard. But then again, that was only a legend!! Those who enters the pool will feel intense discomfort. Both physically and mentally, like your soul sucked out of your body.........maybe even lethal!
Naia (frown): so........where do we find this pool. Cause I'm risking it and getting the heck out of here!!
McKayla: it's definitely not in here. I think that would be too easy if it was, wouldn't it?
There was a sudden hissing sound coming from the pitch darkness, as they turned to flash their torches. The light was unable to illuminate the darkness; Marius remembered what time of area they were in. Out from the invisible came one of the most disturbing creature Eutopia has had to sense. A body that of a snake with a torso of a person and the head of a lion, came slowly but steadily crawling at them. One of the eyes were poked out, so they could see the open eye socket. They began running out of the cavern at their full sprint, with Naia on the back of Samuel. Once they were out, they used their collars to cover their noses.
All six of them walked for over five hours, before reaching what appeared to be civilization. Marius was meticulous about the real existence of such a place, despite knowing that it could be ordinary. The villagers had their human form bound to them, but all had three eyes. The one on their forehead was that to their own, but closed. Some of the pedestrians whispered to each other, as they saw them walking past. One of the children from a nearby alley way began crying. The mother came out from the alley way as well, comforting the child and giving them a sinister glare.
Cedah (grin): you must be people from the outside world, right?
Jonathan: ah, yeah!! We're pretty sure this is the inside of a shell...........a vessel!
Cedah (sigh): that's what every visitor says about us, isn't it? We're just some petty creations from a foolish imagination!
McKayla (smirk): well you guys kinda are!
Eutopia: McKay, don't start! Sorry about her. She gets a bit too far sometimes. I'm Eutopia, this is Marius, Lolite, Samuel, Naia is the one on his back, Jonathan and her.
Cedah: my name is Cedah Cliche. At least, that's what everyone calls me!! Our creator is our goddess..........
McKayla (jested): I assume that's Audrey! Wow, she did create to earn her own respect.
Cedah (frenzily): don't call her by her name!! We'd call her the goddess.
Naia (scoff): yeah right, I highly doubt that! Your goddess fell in love with Samuel over here, but he likes Lolite. So out of revenge..........
Lolite: I don't think they need to hear that, Naia!
Marius: we're looking for the pool that leads to the entrance, a lake..........so they call it.
Cedah (relieved): ah, that's the great lake of Northenus. That's the name we call it. I would highly doubt going there though, since no one ever comes back!
Eutopia (fluster): no one ever comes back?
Cedah: no, most of them just leave for their death. Our people heard the lake has toxic chemical liquid, leading the people to suffocate and hallucinate!
Eutopia (concerned): are we sure we want to do this?
Naia (frown): what else is there? We stay here for the rest of our lives, because we fear this?
Cedah (sternly): I would highly not recommend so, but if you folks insist............the direction is that way!! It is in the centre of another cave, there would be a keeper.......she calls it business, who would be there waiting!
Jonathan: thanks, we do owe you something though.......for telling us.
Marius: Jona, there's no need!! We gotta get going now.
