Hy!
Steemit friends!
I am going to describe the comparison of fundamental particles of an atom.
Recent research has prevailed that atom consist of more than 100 subatomic particles. But mainly three subatomic particles are considered as fundamental particles of an atom i.e electron, proton and neutron.
ELECTRON:
1)- Electron are negatively charged particles of an atom
2)-Electron revolve around the nucleus in the circular path
3) electronic configuration specify the chemical properties of element.
4) The mass of an electron is 0.000548 amu
PROTON:
1) Proton are positively charge particle of an atom
2) Proton are present in nucleus of an atom
3) The atoms of an element has fixed number of proton so it is called identification number of an atom
4) The mass of proton is 1.0073 amu
NEUTRON:
1) Neutron is neutral particle of an atom
2) Neutron is present in nucleus of an atom
3)The number of neutron and and proton specifies the mass no of an atom.
4) The mass of neutron is 1.0087
Thanks...
