I am going to define the topic translatory motion.
MOTION:
A body is said to be in motion if it is changing its position with respect to surroundings.
e.g
A passenger in moving bus is in motion because it is changing its position with respect observer outside the bus.
There are three types of motion
- Translatory Motion
- Rotatory Motion
- Vibratory Motion
Translatory Motion:
If a body moves along a line without any rotation is called translatory motion .The line may be straight and curved.
e.g
- A bicycle moving in a straight line is in translatory motion.
- The motion of insects.
- The motion of a spring.
Thanks...
