Great leaders are those who trust their gut. They understand the art before the science. They win hearts before minds. They are the ones who start with WHY.
It's common fallacy to only believe in what you can see, or what you can prove. Human's eyes can't even see ultraviolet rays or infrared rays, can you say that they don't exist? No, they can be detected by our devices. But similar argument holds for our devices, which are wider than our eyes but limited also, so are our proving methodologies. As we continue to improve our detection devices and proving method, we continue to discover things that we didn't believe to exist before and discover laws/rules that we didn't know about before. Today's "science" is different from yesterday's, and different from tomorrow's. Even in today's frontier "science" there are so many controversies that it's difficult to find something that is agreed by every scientist. Only less than 500 Years ago, everybody believed the Earth was flat, which was the "science" at that time, and people were so defensive of their own belief that they killed anyone who argued against it. Most people who say they only believe in "science" actually don't know much about science, they have absolutely no idea what's being discussed and researched into in most advanced science field nowadays. As a matter of fact, they actually are saying they only believe in what they already know, and shut their minds to anything new. By doing so they choose to only live in their existing comfort zone and refused the opportunity to learn, and expand their horizons.
Only scientists know the limit of science. Quantum physics developed to current day only to find that a lot of the theories were already discussed in Buddhism more than two thousand years ago. The Noble Prize winner in physics Chenning Yang. published an article titled "Buddhism and science are fundamentally compatible", and he gave lots of examples in the article that lots of recent scientific discoveries were already written in Buddhism and many other hidden secret societies, thousands of years ago, it's just recently that we've just advanced our science enough to be able to prove them. The Buddha's spirit was so pure that it's vibration already reached beyond our dimension, the spirit was able to travel across the Universe and dimensions and discover the knowledge not available on earth back then. There are still many mysteries on earth that can't be explained by "science" yet, such as the advanced mathematics and astrology discovered in Pyramids, the Maya civilization, Crop Circles, etc. The 10th planet in our solar system was only discovered in 2005, while it was already on record by the Essenes who lived hundreds of years before Christ.
"Your openness can reveal the secret of world and your inner being." Don't just rely on "science", look beyond it, coz that's where your real journey to know thyself starts.
