Lysergic Acid Diethylamide or LSD is one of the most popular drugs among parties these days. The scientists are still in its process of unraveling complete wonders of this drug. It has been tested on subjects on a wide range of experimentations.
Aldous Huxley, a cancer patient, asked his wife to get her LSD so that he can experience the craziest trip in the world before dying. His wife dosed him a 100-microgram shot and repeated it after one hour. He died experiencing the biggest (probably) dose of this world. Just imagine how powerful the hallucinations would be on that dose.
I have listed 5 things that LSD does to a Human Brain.
Note: We do not support the use of LSD or any kind of drug that is illegal in your country. This article is just for the informative purpose.
1. Full Brain Power
LSD activates the parts of the brain that are normally asleep and unused. The brain gets on its max potential, using all of its neurons. As shown in the picture above, LSD affects every part of the brain, all at the same time. One can have unordinary and unexplainable experiences on LSD.
2. Hallucination
On LSD, the brain starts to receive things inaccurately. This causes hallucinations. Hallucinations can make users hear sounds, see out of the world images, feel fake sensations which are real than reality. The user can hallucinate on LSD for as long as 12 hours.
Hallucinations totally depend on the amount of intake and the mood, feeling, and condition of the user. It can make you see things which seems like reality. One can have the best time of their life, or the worst one, depending on the situation.
3. The Loss Of Self
Users have claimed that they usually fail to differentiate themselves from the environment. They start feeling that everything is connected. They feel that they are connected to something that is around them. They fail to differentiate between themselves and that thing. They feel that their brain is communicating with things present around them, things which are non-living! Weird enough?
4. The Spiritual Experience
In the early 1960s, scientists conducted an experiment on 10 divinity students to see if they feel some out of the world religious experiences. The result was a huge yes. All the students had some spiritual experiences related to god. Later the government banned the research on humans entirely.
5. Harmless?
In the community of Drug Researchers, LSD is considered a lot safer than alcohol if consumed in a proper amount. Overdoses are rare.
In recent studies, research shows that LSD might be helpful in the treatment of Alcoholism.
