What are psychedelics and and how they work?

First of all, psychedelics elicit their effects by complex merger of three factors: disposition, environment and drugs.
Disposition is our own organization, as a long-term and current. This is our past, our present and our future potential; our preferences, ideas, habits and feelings. Disposition also includes our body and brain.
The psychedelic experience also depends on the environment: on who or what is or is not in our immediate vicinity; the environment in which we find ourselves, whether natural or closed; sound quality and ambient sounds around us and so on. The environment also has the role of the disposition of who is with us until we take drugs, whether friend or acquaintance, relaxed or tense, a guide that provides support or scientist who investigates.
Then there's drugs.
First of all, how do we call it? Even among researchers there is not much agreement on this crucial issue. Some do not even use the word drug, and prefer names molecule compound, agent, drug or sacrament.

- Hallucinogen (causing hallucinations)
- entheogens (creates a deity)

- Fanerotim (causing visible feelings)
- Fantastikant (stimulates fantasy)
- Psychodisleptics (disturbs the mind)
- Psihotomimetik and psihotogen (mimics or induces psychosis)
- Psihotoksin and shizotoksin (poison that causes psychosis or schizophrenia)
This attention to the name is not trivia. If everyone agreed on what is psychedelic or what it does, certainly there would be so many words for the same drugs. A variety of labels reflects the deep-rooted and current debate on psychedelic drugs and their effects.
Hallucinogen is the most common medical term for psychedelic drugs that emphasizes observational, mainly visual effects of these drugs. However, although the perceptual effects of psychedelics to common effects are not equal, nor are they necessarily the most respected. Visions in fact, could be only a distraction from the more popular features of experience as intense euphoria, deep intellectual or spiritual insight and disappearance of physical boundaries of the body.
I prefer the name of the psychedelic, or one that manifests the mind, of the hallucinogen.
Psychedelics tell you what's in your mind and plan, those subconscious thoughts and feelings that are hidden, suppressed, forgotten, out of sight, perhaps even completely unexpected, but nevertheless inevitable pristuni. The term hallucinogen is very good although it sounds kinda ... Professional. When you hear it it is clear that means we are talking about causes hallucinations, and psychedelic sounds a little vague but what's done is done. This is the terminology that we "inherited" and now we have to use to continue.
If you feel yourself that this is the next step of your development, trust yourself and the universe, and keeps your spirit / your ego. We, the material beings are a small crystallized / condensed part of the energy of our great spirit, unaware of who we are, executed in mind. Your spirit taking psychedelics is an important event because it opens the doors of consciousness crystallized part of yourself to know the rest of your totality. The size and beauty of what the spirit of human beings is in its totality is unspeakable, the psychedelics can not get to know, as well as all energy nodes where your mind is intricate. Whatever you experience the psyhodelics they give you exactly what you need at this time of life, that your spirit gives through them and learn you.
