North Korea tests short-range missiles
North Korea fired several cruise missiles into the sea off its east coast.
The US military's Pacific Command claimed that it had detected 3 projectiles which are believed to be short- range ballistic missiles.
They flew about 250km in a northeasterly direction.
South Korea & US military held their annual joint military drills even as the South denied that the Korean peninsula will see a war.
