First, I know for a fact Leah Remini got into Scientology, same for Paul Haggis, because of the Celebrity Center, to hob nob with some of the biggies like Cruise and Travolta. And that's it. They BS'ed their way through their services or found their careers weren't going to the Moon but that is not the responsibility of the Church nor the subject of Scientology technology. The contents of every individual's reactive mind, or Bank, is comprised of completely different experiences, especially painful and if one has a hidden standard underlying throughout their service not brought up in session or in the Ethics dept. -- in other words a driving force that would negate the gains of any specific procedure. BUT THE GAINS ARE GOTTEN. At the end of the Purification Rundown, after all the celebration of having gotten the end phenomena of a cleared body or as much as a person can run out before he/she realizes the connection between having to take booze or drugs -- the body's reaction to the pictures of the effects -- drunk or stoned -- mind can think it, get the picture of how good a beer would taste but ... the body didn't kick in as usual. To "debunk" it scientifically is to put any given procedure into exact practice without any other agenda to see if the results are precisely as Hubbard says one will get if all goes right.
