I would first like to start by saying hello from the entire Scorum community to the Hive Team and all of the members of the Hive community. My name is Vladislav Artemyev, and I'm a founder and the CEO of Scorum, Inc.
Like Hive, Scorum also is a fork of the Steem blockchain. Today we are celebrating a partnership between our two similar blockchains. We know that these projects will become stronger by working together and that the members of both blockchains will benefit. Hive has an excellent ecosystem of various applications, including both social networking and various gaming applications. Likewise, Scorum has growing social media applications, a sport’s betting application, and we are preparing to enter the Play-to-Earn (P2E) gaming market.
Our partnership implementation with Hive will occur in several phases.
The First Phase
We will modify our non-sports blogging site "Scorum World" to connect it with the Hive blockchain wallet. Thus, members will soon be able to post content onto two blockchains at once, and they will then receive rewards in both wallets at the same time! This integration will undoubtedly increase the effectiveness and audience of all linked bloggers.
We are now in close contact with @guiltyparties and @lordbutterfly from the Hive marketing team. This initiative is also being introduced at the current Hive Fest, already in progress.
If everything goes well with the first phase, we will then proceed to the second phase.
The Second Phase
We will integrate our new Scorum NFT P2E games with the Hive blockchain. So far, this is still in the planning stage with the Hive development team. The plan is to make a copy of these NFT games for use on Hive while at the same time preserving the game mechanics and its utilization of SCR tokens.
At the moment, an SCR pool is being created that will operate inside the Hive blockchain, which a bridge will subsequently connect to our Scorum blockchain to facilitate the cross-chain flow of SCR.
The Third Phase
This phase will include an additional integration of Hive into our sports blogging platform and the formation of a joint betting exchange. These changes will follow the example of the integrations from the first and second phases.
Summation of what this will mean for chains members
Every active member of both projects will receive additional benefits from this partnership. Mainly, there will be an audience exchange for the applications on both platforms that will increase the number of use cases for each of our coins and boost participation on both blockchains.
After successfully integrating our blockchains, we will be seeking other popular blockchains with extensive use cases for additional partnership opportunities. In this manner, we can effectively grow our networking effect together and continue to grow and gain strength all along the way.
