Do you know that Satan will not stop at anything to separate a believer from having fellowship with Jesus? He did it to Adam and Eve at the Garden of Eden. I believe that before then, he had been observing the sweet fellowship that was going on between Adam, Eve and God. He could not stand it. Out of jealousy, he came in with deception. The deception was just a means by Satan to get man separated from having fellowship with God.
God’s utmost desire is a relationship or fellowship with man. The reason is that no man can develop spiritually without having fellowship with God. E. M. Bounds said; “The men who have most fully illustrated Christ in their character and have most powerfully affected the world for Him have been men who spend so much time with God as to make it a notable feature in their lives…to be little with God is to be little for God.”
Jesus Is The Source Of All Success.
“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples." John 15:1-8
Jesus desires to have fellowship with you because outside him, no believer will achieve anything. God wants you to be fruitful in your endeavors and this is why he wants you to get connected and stay connected with Jesus.
Without this kind of intimate relationship, the life of a believer will be filled with lots of up and down. You can never fulfill your divine purpose without Jesus. like him. God is the one that created you. And every manufacturer had something in mind before creating any product. Why not find out what God has in mind for you? The answer to this is with Jesus.
You cannot fulfill God's purpose outside Jesus. You must get connected to Jesus. He is the vine and God is the vinedresser. Anybody outside Jesus is at a big risk.
The secret of success is staying connected with Jesus. You cannot become like Jesus if you are not staying with Jesus. Start developing the habit of staying with Jesus. This relationship will build in you the character that you need for success.
Developing a Christ-like character is living a life of total dependence on Christ. It is living a life that is based on the word of God. Desire the word of God, go for the word of God and discipline yourself to see that the word of God will dwell, grow and develop in you.
