So Seattle's most left-wing city council member, who has tried to defund the police and has managed to ruin morale and increase murder rates and trash the city she's supposed to help lead, is now complaining at slow police response times after some masked fellow (she's also in favor of masking, I believe) has pelted her yard with dung.
She seems to mainly just hate cops. She's a real piece of work. Of course her community is the richest and arguably most successful ethnic group in America.
At first, I wondered if such un-self-critical instances of hypocrisy, repeated so often over the past few years, make the work of satirists like the Babylon Bee easier or harder. But the punishment so perfectly fits the crime, it brings to mind deeper tales of ironic judgement like That Hideous Strength, or Euripides' Bacchantes.
Of course, Sawant will go on believing that she is being persecuted by bigoted police officers because she is a progressive POC, not that she is reaping one small part of what she has sown. (Not worth comparing to the many POC and white folks who have gotten shot or stabbed or lost their businesses thanks to her witch hunt.)
