Most F1 teams developed KERS that used batteries, but the Williams F1 team created an electromechanical flywheel system. Williams ultimately did not race that system owing to Formula One technical regulations. (Interestingly, Chrysler attempted to build a natural gas/flywheel hybrid race car for Le Mans 15 years earlier, but that program never made it to a race either.)

I want to find designs that are functional and can use the extra juice of an SEG and maybe its propulsion... like levitron flying disc CRANES or quad copter cranes

but to fly it would need to i dunno be in the shape of a quad copter or osprey or heavy lift helicopter , but i just want it to be able to hover around ... maybe it can use ground based radar to direct the seg propulsion around construction zones. I want to keep looking at real caterpillar designs for new electric bulldozers and construction vehicles and make some really small bobcat style utilitarian affordable electric construction worker bee vehicles everyone can buy... beyond the cyber truck
