I have often heard that the most uninteresting word a sentence can begin with is I; so, let me start again.
My mother birthed me in the far left corner of the United States, the green State of Washington; smack dab in the middle of that territory, in a small town named Ellensburg. Little did I know, that stay would be short-lived; my father, having just joined the Air Force, would soon fly us to the other far rightcorner of the country: Maine. Where the snow was so thick we would build tunnel-cities under it, and I once got lost in my own front yard while trying to get home in a blizzard. (Picture below: I'm on the left, then little brother, then little sister--all in UK; note our Seahawks gear.)
But even Maine could not hold us, so we headed off for a foreign land--the home of (some of) my (and perhaps yourn) ancestors: The United Kingdom. The United Kingdom, or, more specifically, England, or, even more specifically, the areas of Salisbury and Basingstoke, which were about forty-five minutes Southwest of London. We rode a double-decker bus to school, and there were mandatory dress-codes in class. First-grade began at age four and one-half. We ate "chips" with our burgers, used the "wee" or "the loo," and watched the "telly." Me and my "mates" had a blast running up and down the moats of abandoned castles; sometimes we'd bring our sleds, or pieces of cardboard, and slide down the embankments, playing Robin Hood or King Arthur.
(lots of boring, typical, teenage stuff: Sex, Drugs, Rock. Stories for another rainy day...)
Now, I'm thirty-four. No kids. Had a cat, but, she died (RIP, Lil').
Studied philosophy, economics and psychology in college. (That's actually my younger brother's graduation in the pic; mine wouldn't be until a few more years... Winning)
(Inevitable next question: "What are you gonna do with thaaat? Answer is: sit around and think a lot about why I don't have a job, while enjoying hearing others say: 'I told you so..."). I now live BACK in Washington State, and, am trying to nudge my way into this crypto scene, because, I find it intriguing, and, because it seems "modern society" does not currently have a place where I feel like I "fit," so, here I am-- on Steem, tryin' to find my place; and hopefully I can figure out a way to contribute!
Aside from Steeming--which has become an increasingly prevalent activity in my day--I also like to play the guitar (I can't wait till I get my amp outta hock so I can enter in the Steem Open Mic Contest--I'm hoping Steem will help with that lol) and work on guitars, too. Below are a few guitars I built:

(The above guitar was inspired by Chris Cornell. I started it the morning he passed away, and I wanted to attribute it to him. The text along the edge is from his song "The Last Remaining Light." You can message me for more details on any of these if interested.)
and then just me at some open mic gig in Atlanta:
I guess that's it for now... Thank you for reading, and, if you like anything you see, please, don't be a stranger! We can be creepy and follow each other... muuwwhahahah!!!
