In today’s generation it is impossible to complete a day without the doses of internet. But what if there is restrictions on the internet for those who are almost addicted to it, it’s like poison on there internet. But this is true for almost 50 % of internet users, few of them have less restrictions but most of them have strict restrictions. So think about the person who live in the threat of so many restrictions on internet. There are countries like China who even ban Steemit in there country. It’s like an ugly dream for us but it’s reality for them. So in this blog I am going to look into my country India and it’s freedoms of internet.

But before we began let’s talk about why countries restrict internet.
There are so many reasons why countries restrict internet some time it’s an need of safety to protect us, but most of time it’s government who restrict internet for there sakes of benefits. To protect there political grounds they restrict internet.
And sometimes it’s against the culture of countries so they restrict some part of internet like restricting porn in there respective countries.
But most of time it’s the political reason why government restrict or ban internet in there countries and this against the freedom of persons to stop them exploring the internet. But they have power to do that so do this and in most of cases people silently expect it which is wrong in my opinion.
India & internet
India’s has population of 1.3 billion but every doesn’t has access on internet because of its out of there purchasing range , main barriers in that is high prices of smartphones ,laptops & PC so due to that more than 55% of India’s population doesn’t have access to internet and it’s an big number in terms of high population but these numbers are decreasing rapidly after the tech giant reliance enters the telecom market in late 2016 it make cheap smartphones as well as cheap data to access the internet, so the user base of internet access in India is increasing rapidly but obviously it will take time because 55% means more than 700 million people so large will take large time to tackle it down, but the thing which is positive that it is decreasing.
So it’s all about the people who have access and who don’t now let’s move on restrictions of internet Indians have in country
Talking about freedom of internet you get in India then it’s not worst and not even best in the world it kind of stuck in middle of those. I am not gonna justifies this condition but there are some obvious reasons which should be presented to the world if we are taking about this, the reason why India in the best countries to access the internet main factor is its own territory Kashmir which is an violent area so as you know sometime internet works as catalyst in violent areas so there should be internet restriction. But it will extreme at some time that government shutdowns the internet in that reason and I think this is not good in my opinion but yes sometime for safety of people it’s necessary.
Moving on other part of India then there the freedom of internet is quite good and due to this you can say other part of India has access of an freedom internet. I am not saying best but it’s good.
Taking about quality issues you may face on internet in India
When we are talking about speed of internet and quality of internet then then it is not best not worse but it’s is lower than the quality of middle position.
If you want to experience great quality internet with great speed then it’s not possible in all areas of India but it’s possible in cities but you have to spend more for that. Earlier we talked that the price is very cheap for data but that doesn’t offer the best speed to you if you want to get great quality and speed spend more to get that.
If it’s like reviewing any country on the basis of there freedom of internet then I will give India 4.5/10
