Currently, it is appraisal time in many corporate, with the beginning of new financial year, many companies work out on the budget and decide on increment of salaries of many employee.
The process adopted in many companies, follow a method where the employee need to self-appraised / evaluate first as per the set benchmark and set goals in the companies.
Thereon the same will get reviewed and discussed with the immediate supervisor. No doubt, every employee, do consider their work to be at par of the set standard, however, there are certain areas, where the supervisor do consider that the employee is lacking and need some improvement.
Well, I am not considering my appraisal on Steemit, which is nowhere to mention, however I have concern about the Self Voting done on many of the comments by the commenter himself/herself.

I believe, Voting own post or content is correct, however, voting own comments on other post is mean thing one is doing. It is kind of self-appraising own comments through own view. I have come across many instances, where many Steemit user, made a single word comments on other post, and made a self-voting on it.
I know, by doing so , he / she will be getting the curation as per own voting power. Many user with high Steem Power, have a good weight on the voting, and they utilise it for own voting. However, I think such comments are not even considered to be self-voted.
At least put a meaningful comments and then let other to evaluate the comments.

No one is perfect and everyone do lack something which make them incomplete. Self-voting is like self-praise which shows the arrogant part of yourself. I would prefer, user to upvote on others comments, to value other viewpoint. Steemit is all about giving to others though rewards and curation.
All the above content is my own viewpoint, and I openly putting it through the post. I would be interested to listen on all others views as well. Would really appreciate, If I can get a something fruitful with my thought in the comment.
