I'll admit I don't keep track of the self-defense market like I used to, but it seems a story of this size would have found it's way onto my radar. On April 5, 2017 Taser changed their name to Axon, presumably to distance the stigma of their flagship products as they try to sell body cams to police districts across the country. It makes sense, when lobbying politicians to have a less inflammatory title for your line of products. But I can't help but think it's a mistake when brand recognition is everything in the consumer market. This bugs me, let me know what you think.
