SEO Basics - Content.

When it comes to writing content for your website their are several reasons to do this well, to engage your visitors, to convert sales or services and ultimately attract people through search engine results. So the latter, is fairly important. There is no point having well written content if you do not have anybody to read it. Therefore identifying a keyphrase that potential customers and/or clients search for is key.

Once you have identified your keyphrase, use it in the title, also use it in the meta description of the page. It should also appear in the first paragraph of text and then a couple of times throughout the content. Avoid a keyphrase density of over 2% as this can have a negative effect. Your content should also be over 350 words in total, any less and it will not rank as well.
